Away from the business, Dave enjoys competitive curling, playing mixed slow pitch and touring the west coast by motorcycle, with the occasional round of golf squeezed in. He has maintained his private pilots license and can be seen flying over Winnipeg and the beaches each summer with friends and family. He is a founding member of Synergy Victoria Business club and is a past president of the Winnipeg St. James Rotary club.
